Coding ends. Pitching begins. Here’s what the teams had to say about their solutions:
1. Constant Variables – Challenge Your Buddy
With the tagline, ‘Get set go – install karo’, the aim of the application was to challenge people to improve or adopt a good habit. Positioned as a lifestyle based application, it encourages users to remain consistent. While there exist a number of health apps, the concept of adding challenges will set this one apart. The app was demonstrated using Alexa, integration with Google will allow automatic notifications and artificial intelligence integration will recommend better connections in the future. The idea to sell the application – approach enterprises, partner with Uber, advertise and sell collected big data.
2. Infinite – Let Me Go
The pitch began with data collected regarding ambulances, and the application was titled – ‘Clear Way’. They had an interactive demonstration showcasing a live stream simulating a scenario with an ambulance. A Chromecast was used to demonstrate the application, and the developed system was intuitive enough to send voice notifications regarding the approach of an ambulance in regional languages. Infinite used the Electric Imp to display how traffic lights can be turned green when an ambulance approaches. They intend to tie up with hospitals, insurance companies and Uber to spread awareness of the application.
3. Parikrama – Ride
Titled – ‘Savari’, the Parikrama solution aims to revolutionize the traditional system of carpooling. The application promotes trust as you can choose your companion, convenience by allowing the user to save cost, and connect quickly. Additionally, it allows you to socialize and be safe while traveling. The data collected can further be used to give you better recommendations for future trips.
