Six members from each house participated in a surprise pre-event creative challenge – Legothon. The task was simple – use Legos to depict D.I.E. HARD, either literally or metaphorically. The teams had one hour to bring their concept to life, and put on their thinking caps to come up with:
Royal Brigade – created Lego representations of Data, Intelligence and Experience, along with a Lego Extentia Tower in keeping with the D.I.E. HARD theme.
Parikrama – a Game of Thrones concept – each house was shown as a guard with social media incorporates to demonstrate the flow of information
Constant Variable – created a Lego robot who was streamlining all the scattered data to create Big Data.
Spartans – mapped the journey taken for data from concept to pitch
Infinite – used data and intelligence to create a smart experience represented by a smart Lego house complete with a Lego Alexa.
Unicorn – a car construction Lego workshop where the client's needs were met by combining data, intelligence, and experience.
The judges awarded a winner based five factors – relevance to theme, creativity, aesthetic, use of material, and the pitch.
The winners were:
First – Unicorn
Second – Constant Variable
And a special mention went out to the Spartans.
Congratulations to all the teams and winners, wait and see what benefit your team has gotten!
